|Project||Job Centre Plus Boiler room modifications|
|Client||Seddon Construction ltd|
The project was carried out by Gilks Mechanical team between November 2020 and March 2021. The project involved the replacement of boiler plant, pumps, dosing pots, flues and air dirt separators with upgrades to the existing gas system and BMS control panels in seven Job Centers throughout the East and West Midlands.
The Job Centres were occupied during the works and temporary heating to the buildings was installed to prevent disruption to the daily operation of the offices.
On completion all plant was tested and commissioned, thermally insulated and the existing systems were chemically flushed, and inhibitor added.
We received some very positive feedback from the Site Manager on the project,
“With regards to the contractors, I have to say how professional and supportive they were for the whole of the installation, and kept us in the loop every step of the way. They listened and acted on any concerns we had, and they completed the job without disruption. Very happy with their service.”
