Gilks (Nantwich) Ltd was founded in 1935 by the late Mr George Gilks and became a limited company in 1962.

Headquarters are situated in the historic and picturesque south Cheshire town of Nantwich, and the company also has an office on Anglesey.

Gilks is a member of the National Inspection Council, the Electrical Contractors Association and the National Joint Industry Board for the Electrical Contracting industry, and as such work to the published Code of Fair Trading governing those bodies.

The company has gained full accreditation of the new International Quality Standard ISO 9001 : 2000.

Gilks’ dedicated and highly qualified workforce of over 80 employees include specialists in electrical installation work, which is undertaken to the highest standards of safety, quality and environmental considerations.

Continuous rigorous inspections are carried out of all work to ensure technical compliance with relevant national standards across all aspects – design procedures, installation, inspection, test and documentation.
