The safety at work of all employees, and those who are in some way affected by or involved in the Company’s activities, form a fundamental part of its objectives.

Policy, objectives & responsibilities are clearly defined in the Company Safety Policy & Procedures

The Company employs a N.E.B.O.S.H. qualified Health & Safety Manager, whose responsibilities include:-

  • The provision of guidance and co-ordination of all matters relating to Health, Safety & Welfare.
  • The provision of guidance on the requirements & implementation of existing & new legislation.
  • The identification of Safety Training needs.
  • Co-ordinating and conducting site safety audits.
  • Maintaining the Company’s status as a training centre for the Construction Skills Certification Scheme, and ensuring that all site related staff are accredited to the scheme.
  • Implementing and co-ordinating a Health & Safety Management System to ensure the involvement of people at all levels

Adopting this approach has helped the Company improve its statistics over recent years, however “ZERO ACCIDENTS” is still the target.
